Hot Pink Lace Diamond Cowl is a modern crochet design. Using traditional granny squares alongside mini and half granny squares, the cowl was designed to drape over the neck and shoulders. The design brings openness to the cowl, making it airy, soft, and warm. Pops of color and variegated yarns add to the fun. To add to the cowl's versatility, buttons were added both as a decorative element and to enhance its wearability.

On a beautiful spring day about 10 years ago, I walked into a yarn shop in Park Slope, Brooklyn – the yarns in the window were beautiful, and they called out to me. I have always appreciated handmade crafts, and my home is filled with hand-blown glass and ceramic objects, art, and textiles. Perhaps I was ready to try my hand.
